Udaipur, the city of lakes was very different than the rest of the places we had been so far. Surrounded by two large lakes, bustling city life in between and mountains all around, Udaipur proved to be quite photogenic. We scaled up to the Monsoon Palace, saw the Lake Palace from a roof top patio and visited an animal shelter where we once again made a new friend who had some pretty good travel advice for us and convinced us to go to Nepal to stay at a particular eco-village that she had just come from.
