Welcome to the official They Went There website!

Our journey begins in Florence Italy, somewhere that has always held a special place in our hearts and especially for me because I lived and went to school there when I was younger. We are fortunate to have a house that we can call home just outside of Florence and that’s where we spent the first ten days of our trip. During the day we enjoyed walking through the streets of Florence and getting lost in the little towns just outside of the city. We both drank lots of delicous wine, ate tons of pasta and bread and had a scoop or two of gelato. In the evenings we spent our time sitting  by the fire, talking about life, setting goals and looking out at the stars.
